I have those Black BBS RA's from Dustin. But they are going to be white, and I have much, MUCH smaller tires coming for them. It's not my end goal for wheels but I like them and they were cheap. Eventually something much wider and with more dish, I don't really have my heart set on anything at the moment.

These wheels, so imagine them white with some slightly stretched tires. DSC_8670 by FOTOmotive, on Flickr

Untitled by slingblade_2004, on Flickr Been pretty bad about updating, but Coilovers are on, new tires are on the bbs's ^thats the test fit. Have yet to put the headliner back in and put everything back together, have some trim and a tail light to fix, but those are pretty minor issues. I also think that I am going to do the trim white and put it back one, I am hoping it'll match the wheels, and go really well against the turquoise.

Thanks guys, I am hoping with the white on turquoise it'll be kind of a classic chevy style look, at least from a distance lol. I am hoping to have the wheels done today so I'll update with the white wheels.

I'll actually update with more content next week after the car show. But for now here is the latest progression. Wheels are finished and i am starting to put everything back together. Have a tone of clean up on edges and interior yet, but it's starting to look really good. The mudflaps are just sitting on the floor behind the tire for the pic, they aren't mounted yet. It's amazing how fast a car can start to look neat with a little low, a nice color for the body and some wheels

Some updated shots. I have been MIA for awhile, but I have a few little things coming for it. Mostly still just trying to bring everything back up to par on it. Was running pretty warm and after a cooling fan switch, and a thermostat I learned that the Sealed cooling system on those things were notorious for clogging up the radiator with no real way to flush it. So I have a new radiator coming, hopefully it solves my over heating issues. Also got the mudflaps on it finally. OG mud flaps just dipped black.

This is pretty dope. I'm digging the head liner. I just picked up a 1980 Rabbit, but the shell isn't even remotely as nice as yours lol. I got it damn cheap though so it's all good. I'll try and get a thread up later this week. Looking forward to the updates!

so we had an issue with the previous dip... there had been some discussion on line about using some paint colorants to tint plastidip to custom colors. we used Ace Hardware colorant, and it cause the plastidip to continue to shrink. so on all of the inward body lines, it pulled away from the body and shrunk like little mini trampolines all over. we did some messing around with different colors of dip, and a tint kit from DYC and came up with an even more vibrant teal, with almost more of a blue hue to it. It came out smoother, and with a bit more sheen. It looks sweet. Should be doing a photoshoot tonight, but I wanted to throw the update out there. Should be ready for the big car show in Denver this weekend and for reference: bottom color is the old color, top right is the DYC intense teal, and the top left is the DRTYRBTs new coat!
